Anyone Noticed Body Panel Warping on Your ZR?
My '06 ZR has begun to make more creaks and groans when I go in/out of driveways that are a little steep. To prevent scraping the front fascia, I approach these at an angle and straighten out the car asap, once the nose has cleared.
I noticed today what appears to be a very slight warp or distortion in the paint on the pass side rear qtr panel (appears to bow outward, not convex & no paint transfer so it wasn't hit). It looks to run from the front of the rear wheel opening & angles upward toward the door handle. I don't have any pics but will try to take some later, though I'm not sure the camera will pic it up. I don't see the same warping on the driver's side, only on the pass side.
I've tried searching the forums here to see if anyone else has encountered anything like this, but to no avail. I bought the car new and confirmed it had no documented damage prior to my purchase, and the car's not been hit while I've had it. My ZR has 21k miles and is 22 mo's old.
Needless to say, I'm seriously bummed. Feedback please!!!

Im a bit surprised at how well my ZR has held up to squeeks and rattles (I have an '04).
I was expecting after four years to have a lot more issues....but she still sounds as good as day one (aside from tire growl).

My 04 ZR doesnt have any creaks or rattles for the most part... The top, when its up has a slight rattle on the passenger side of the car but I drive with the top down 95% of the time so it doesnt really matter for me. I'm really surprised at how well it feels and sounds for an 04 with 48K miles on it. This thing is definately solidly built...

I should also comment that I started to hear some creaking/rubbing as I went over bumps/driveways etc... I originaly thought it was the Roadster body starting to flex and fatique.
It turns out it was the door seals. I wiped them down with a little silicon spray and all is good. Some evidence however that the body does twist a little.

I've got some squeaks, and some fit and finish issues starting to show up on my 06.5 Z with only 8100 miles on it and I'm surprised and disappointed. I have an appt with the dealer next week to discuss. We'll see what happens.

No squeaks or rattles here, but my front "lip" is getting all bent outta shape, on the left-hand side! I'm thinking, maybe with a heat gun (you know, one of
those "super" blow dryers), I could try to get it back into its original shape.
Anyone has the same predicament?! HELP!
