Guys,

Dealership will be changing the top of my car soon. Are they going to need access to the bose sub location or the back (glove) compartment.


I have aftermarket audio in that area so I just want to know in advance.

I had my top done twice but never watched them. I know they cracked open the roll bar covers and I had to get them to order new ones after I picked up the car.

Are they replacing your top under warranty?

 

Yes it is under warranty. What about yours?

You're lucky. I paid $1200 for a new top installed.. not even OEM.

 

they will have to remove all of it. in order to take the top off they need to remove the two ^ behind the head rest and to get access to it they need to remove the panels...

 

I am not concern with the panels. Do they need access inside the bose sub location or the glove compartment?

The new top will also come with a new back window, so keep that in mind if your current window is tinted. :-)

 

Both replacements were under warranty. My current top is two years old and looks to be holding up well.
