Academy Nissan also has a Touring Auto PPW with chrome aftermarket wheels.

I saw the vehicle at a body shop with no front end prior to seeing it on the lot. Academy bought it out of California and apparently fixed and repainted the front end.

Now they are selling it for brand new. And the 17" wheels are going for $2999.00. Unbelievable.

They want $37K, no NAV or leather.

Who's worse, lawyers or car dealers?

Chas and David,
Go to Tynan's in Denver. They have a Lemans Sunset scheduled for delivery on 9-10-03 and they are selling at MSRP. John Elway also does not markup but they did not have any roadsters as of two weeks ago.

Thanks, will go see at the weekend. Assume you mean 10 September, UK format would read 9 October, divided by a common language, but I will check with them first.

Here in Iowa 1K over sticker. A person in the midwest would be stupid to pay over sticker right now. Give it 2 months and they'll be below MSRP. I got my oil change today and informed the dealer that I would never buy a car from them again since I saw that they were going over sticker. They were one of the few that didn't go over sticker on the coupe and that's why I bought from them. Not anymore. Way to go Hummels Nissan!

I paid exactly MSRP ($37,130) for my 2004 Silverstone Touring Roadster (6spd, charcoal int.) plus a few options (mats, splash guards, etc.) at Power Nissan of Torrance. Started shopping over the internet in July, and I had one of the first Roadsters in CA (picked it up Aug. 22) Started my research online, and was automatically routed to the Internet Sales Manager (Tom Dessaint) who was fantastic throughout the entire process.

Well I have got to see one, a Silver Touring in Longmont. They conveniently have a Coupe in the same colour next to it. Asking $3k over MSRP, well not from me. You know you will take a big hit on new car depreciation, no need to add to it.

With the hood up, the Coupe has the better lines, but is the hood down option worth the extra?.

Something to ponder, and I have a month or so to make the call. Can not imagine that Roadsters will be difficult to come by at sensible prices once the weather turns.

I got one for MSRP in the Washington DC area at Sheehy Nissan.
They're the only dealer around here doing that.

Everyone else wants $3K-$10K over.
