Default Car Covers

I have a 2005 ZR that's always parked outside. What car covers do you guys recommend? Thing gets dusty real quick and there's always crap falling on it from the trees.

Don't think a car cover is going to protect it all the time especially if you put it on a dirty car. Almost like having sand paper on your entire car.

It's a weekend car, so it would protect it for the week at least after a cleaning.

And I tried the search function. Wouldn't waste everyone's time if I hadn't.

Put "car cover" in quotes and try again - worked for me.

I just bought the OEM Nissan cover, but I dont like the fabric.
Too thin and nylon-like, but it was the only one I could find with a license plate window. The town I live in is a stickler for having the plate exposed.

Dont be suprised if you see it for sale here in the classifieds soon.

Just a word of advice - of you leave your car outside, the OEM Nissan cover isnt really designed for this. I was putting it on on Sunday, and the instructions clearly state that the cover is not designed to replace a garage and will not offer protection against the elements.
When I came home from work yesterday (it was raining and gusting pretty badly here in NJ), I had to remove the cover for fear that it would damage the paint - even with it tied down and a cable lock installed.

This cover does not fit very well, and leaves alot of room for wind to gust up under the cover. Plus like I had stated a few posts up, it is fairly flimsy. I would not recommend the Nissan cover for outdoor use at all. As a dust cover inside a garage it would be acceptable, but for oudoors it sux.

I'll be looking at something better suited to the elements.
