There is a thread on here somewhere about this. There is a sequence you can use of turning the ignition on for a number of seconds and then turning it off again.

This worked for me for a while but now the light is on all the time.

Check to see if the yellow harness under both your seat to see if they are disconnected or loose. Damage of any kind that is the air bag harness. It wont hurt to reset to see if the light goes away. Did you spill any water to short circuit.

Dealer replaced my '05 ZR driver's seat side airbag 4 times over 4 years, all under warranty, fortunately.

Only symptom was that light on.

No abuse, no water, no interior mods.

Interesting, I though it had something to do with my aftermarket bumper.

I will take a look at my seat, I may have knocked it around since I keep my windsheild visor underneath my seat.

I had the same problem a while ago.

Used the key reset procedure a few times. Each time, the light would stay off for 2-3 months, but then come back on again.

Took it into the dealer and he said the connection in the steering column was loose. He said this happens a lot due to vibration, and he tied the connection together by wrapping a piece of wire around it to hold it together.

Cost about $65 for under 1 hours work (out of warranty) -- mostly the diagnostic part and taking the steering column apart.

seat belts are lifetime warranty... what is so wrong with going to get if fixed instead of "reseting" the light... it will come back on

I could take it to my friends shop and get him to reset with the little code reader he has?

I had the same problem with an '05 roadster, wound up hitting an animal and bringing the car in for body work. They fixed mine for free.
