Default Where is the small speaker that gives the turn signal sound?

So, a couple years ago, I noticed that my turn signals would stop making noise. And then randomly, they would start again. Next, my "you left your headlights on" noise stopped. Now my "you left the keys in the ignition" and "seat belt is not on" noise all have stopped. Is there one relay or speaker that controls all of these functions? Where would I find more information on it?

Great question ? I don't think it's a speaker but more on the NATs box by the ignition.

Looking thru similar issues, someone said it is a speaker, then someone else mentioned a circuitboard behind the dash. What is the NATs box? Don't know what will go out next!

Try this..

1. Insert your key in the ignition.
2. Turn your key to the "ON" position, but DO NOT start car.
3. Turn ON your headlights.
4. Turn ON a turn signal.
5. Turn OFF your headlights.
6. Turn OFF the turn signal.
7. Turn your key to the "OFF" position.

I have the same problem in my car. My turn signals don't make a clicking noise and my headlight on warning sound does not work either. I tried the above procedure and there's no change.....

According to the Driver Information section (di.pdf) of the Service Manual for my 2005 Z, the instrument cluster contains the unit that generates the chimes for ignition key. lights, and seat belt warnings. However, nothing is said about turn signals or hazard lights.

The turn signal/hazard sound is emitted through that same speaker as well.

If that 'simple' reset didn't work, try checking your interior fuse box located near your BCM(Body Control Module) for a broken fuse. A lot of the time this problem is associated with that area getting wet. Check for any moisture around that area as well. Sometimes, even removing the fuse and re-inserting it 'can' yield positive results since that system is constantly receiving voltage. I've seen it before. Good luck.

Today, it is about 100 deg outside. I drove the car home for lunch and noticed the turn signal/headlight warning speaker thing working. I turned my hazards on to see if the speaker stayed working. It worked for a couple minutes but then stopped. Its clearly intermittent. Ill have to check the fuses...hopefully thats all I need to do.

Well I guess that's half good. I wouldn't think it would be a broken fuse if it's intermittent. Maybe it's loose or, wet(if this just happened recently). I mean, you do have a convertible..
