Thanks John, I'll have to try the crystal guard myself.

Phew...glad I'm not the only one with the brake dust problem!! Did people who changed out their front brake pads to Greenstuff or Hawk change the rear ones too?? How much per pair of front and back?? Peace all...

This seemed to help my dust problem a little on stock pads.

I just installed my EVO-R Version I front lip and it cut down on the brake dust tremendousley. I Installed it on Saturday and put a little ove 300 miles on the car this week and brake dust is very minimal for that amount of miles. Usually they would be BLACK by now if I let them go this long before.

Next step is to Zaino th crap out of the rims this weekend and see if that eases the dust anymore.

I had the Hawks installed in her car and she is extremely happy. Very little brake dust and sometimes none at all.

Thanks for the replies...

Dave

Mine squeak too. The dealer says he doesn't hear any squeaking (sure), but it's annoying as hell to me.

The brakes are now starting to squeak a little bit. Do Hawks squeak?

There is a TSB out about the squeaky brakes issue. It is NTB03114. Nissan is instructing dealers to replace the outer front brake shim with a different one.

See http://www.nissan-techinfo.com Select TSB's from the drop-downs at the top.

Does anybody have a hard copy of this TSB? You need to pay in order to get a copy on the techinfo site.

Mossy Nissan in Kearny Mesa won't do anything about the squeak. Anybody have Hawks installed that squeak?

I have a few thousand miles on my Hawks now and they have started sqeeking as well. I tried an anti-squeek compound, but it didn't really help. Since they don't do it all the time, Ive decided to just ignore it.
