White Roaster only in Touring?? SUX
I am in love with white cars.... but considering that I do not want to pay extra for the Touring Roadster.... the Enthusiast dont offer white color.. why is that?? It really sucks.. I was just at the nissanusa.com... and they dont have the white color as choice for the Enthusiast.... why dont i want the Touring?? Simply, i am going to change the sound system to a much better one so I dont need the BOSE... I want to put a Red color leather, white exterior.. that color combo is my dream... As far as wheel size.. I plan to upgrade to a nice looking 18 or 19 inch later... but for now, I just need to car...
I live is SOCAL... near Buena Park/Cerritos... I have been to both dealers... I hate them all. They dont know what they are talking about.. .especially the Cerritos Nissan people are SO F'ing rude...
Guys... I have been following this forum for about 5 months. I was going to consider G35 Coupe.. but I think I need a true sports convertible.... 40k is my limit.. and this car barely fits the price.. after tax, it might be little more.... but who considers the tax and fee stuff...
Guy, please tell me what you think. Enthusiast is the most practical way to go.. but I really want the WHITE exterior... silver is too played out here.. every car is silver now...
Any suggestions for experienced and good people at a Audio shop in SOCAL?? I wanted to spend about 1500 for my upgrade... all stealth clean setup.... This is my first upgrade in the first week.
Then save some money and get my self little bolt-on like CAI, some exaust (just for look and sound) and some wheels. That is it .
Thanks guys

I went with an enthusiast roadster and added new stereo, wheels, leather seats, clear bra.
If you want the least hassle, call up Jeff or Jason at Performance Nissan in Duarte (210 meets 605), they'll set you up with Ken in Fleet Dept for a real easy 1thousand off MSRP sale. I pretty much told Ken what i wanted. They didn't have the car in so he did a search of all So Cal inventory for possible dealer trade. There was one car avail in my specs but Ken advised me not to take it b/c it was on other dealers lot for 1.5 month, around 150 miles on it. Instead I waited 2 weeks for the exact car i wanted fresh off the truck with 3 miles. No dealer add ons. Shouldn't be more than 30-40 min from OC. The best part is I communicated with Ken by phone and didn't walk into dealer except to pickup/pay for the car.

As far as a white enthusiast roadster, I can select it just fine on the nissanusa website.

I went with Classic Soft Trim instead of Katzkin. From what i've heard, classic soft trim markets more towards auto dealers, Katzkin go for private consumers.
Here's mine. 2 tone leather with perforated center, compatiable with side airbags, $725 installed by Airstream in Huntington Beach, CA. I highly recommend them. They are very professional and know what they're doing, excellent results. They had 2 guys working on my seats, very detailed and careful.
FYI, they carry both Katzkin and Classic Soft Trim. Your choice but i went with classic. Also Airstream does work for Nissan, Chevy, Saturn dealers installing aftermarket leather seats, dvd navi, sunroofs, wheels.

One other thing, if you're going for straight black with perforated center just like stock, it will probably be around $100 less than 725. They 1st quoted me $625 i think but that was for solid color.
Thanks for all the info. Do you have 2004 or 2004.5 Roadster?
I guess I might wait little more until they have 2005 out.. maybe all the things might be fixed.. from tire feathering problems to other little things.
I still have little time to think. I am definately considering calling Ken the Fleet manager.... I will contact him when time comes..
addidaskobe: DO you have any pics of your car now with new mods you put in??

There is NO option for PPW on Enthusiast.
As for sound upgrade, Go to AUTOSOUND SPECIALIST ON Beach & Trask in Westminster. They are not the cheapest but they do a great quality job and the service is TOP noch.
