% of time with top down?
If you have a ZR as your only driver, you don't have much choice but to put the top up in bad weather. Then, there are some who have alternate choice of vehicles. I've noticed that I drive the ZR almost exclusively on clear days, and my pickup on rainy days. This means I have the top down 90% of the time. I am one lucky Z owner!
Just wondering: if you have a ZR, how much of your driving time is with the top down?

Easily 95% of the time. The only time it's up is when the weather dips into the high 40s - low 50s in the morning here or after it's been washed and the top is still damp.
Ok, and there was that time when I had to pick my grandmother up at the airport and she requested the top be put up so her wig wouldn't blow off.

One percent or less
But let me explain.....
I ordered my ZR in January of 2003 and I live in CT. Wouldn;t you know it, it arrived in October. Boom, the weather gets cold and rainy, then snowy, then cold and rainy.
So far I have only had the top down about 20. But Spring is coming and I hope to up my average alot.
It is also my daily driver.

Drive with Top Up?
You mean you can drive with the top up ?
Seriously, I had 758 Miles on my car before I actually drove with the top up.
Now I have a Toy Tacoma, so the top is down 98% of the time.
Now all I need is Active Ventelated Seats. (too bad its not an MB)

Hmm..I used to drive top down about 90% of the time. I have found I really like to drive when its slightly cool out with the top up and windows down. Honestly I still can't decide if the car looks better with top up or down, its one of the only roadsters I think looks as good both ways.

top down any chance I get; probably 80% of time. I've driven plenty with top down in the winter. One cool, sunny day in January, about 35 degrees, we bundled up, cranked up heat and bun warmers and drove for hours...got some looks, but people just don't understand! I've found that even at 50 degrees and sunny, it's great. I don't hesitate to run with top down in most any weather...except down pours, of course. I figure that's why I bought it. If I want closed driving...I'll take the FX.

I would say I am 98% with the top down. I also park it in the garage with the top down. When I test drove the car I never had the top up and finally decided to take the car for a longer ride the other day with the top up to see what it was like.

i would say that if it's too hot wouldn't you put the top up? i don't have a roadster so i really wouldn't know but i think ... aside from the fact that with the top down, the car looks soo shexy.. if it's like 102 degrees out (like two days ago in CA) then i would put the top up and blast the AC no matter how cool it looks. :P

My top's down nearly 100% of the time while driving, and I park with the top down ~70% of the time. I take another car only if snow is likely.
Denver boasts 300+ sunny days a year. Given our frequent afternoon thunderstorms in spring and summer, I'd amend that to 300+ days that =start out= sunny, but the climate here is very conducive to open-air motoring -- particularly with our very dry air.
During the winter, I drove with the top down on many 20-25° mornings dressed as I would to walk in such temperatures. With the side windows up, cabin air remains remarkably warm, and even my wool fedora manages to stay on my head.
