New Brake Pads & SS LInes
Getting my Roadster ready for the track next week. Replaced oem pads with Hawks and lines with Russel Stainless lines. What was interesting the oem lines are 3 lines interconnected. The replacement was one line, much cleaner and will give better brake response. So far brakes feel pretty good, can't wait to try them out on the track. Will probably replace oem rotors with slotted/drilled later. These Hawks should also keep the brake dust down. Anyone else replace there oem pads and lines? Did you notice any improvement?

Replaced OEM pads
I replaced the OEM pads with EBC greenstuff.
I am not impressed. They seem to stop the same.
The brake dust is only like 30% less. IE: I have to clean the wheels after 75 miles instead of 50 miles.
How are the Hawks on dust, and on noise.
The EBC's are quite.

I think lines cost me $112. Used a vacuum system to bleed lines but had to add very little brake fluid, used barely a cans worth of Nissan heavy duty fluid. Was able to do it at a Volvo dealer I do business with. Service manager let me use their lift and equipment before techs came in. They have a vacuum system for bleeding the lines.
