You guys are crazy. This car is ****ing hot. Looks WAYYYYY better than a stock 350Z. Not to mention it is lighter and more powerful. Can't wait to see one with aftermarket wheels and removed amber in the headlights. The interior is so much better looking. I hate the inside door panels on the 350Zs and why does only the passenger side get the aluminium grip bar? People always would ask if my side broke off

I don't like it yet. Everyone's saying "Oh, it'll grow on you." Well, it hasn't yet. I think that at most angles, it's bloody ugly. Of course, I think the interior blows away the Z33's interior. It's actually proper, and doesn't look like some sort of Hot Wheels play set.

I went over on the Cayman forum at ClubCayman.net where they have the same exact thread on the new updated Cayman. The comments over there are EXACTLY the same as those here. Just substitute 370Z for Cayman and you couldn't tell any difference. It was hysterical!
"I hate the backend of the new ______. The old model looks better IMHO."
"Those headlights are hideous! The old ________ looks a lot cleaner."
"What were they THINKING with those tail lights? At least the old _________ had a rear that matched the front."
"The interior on the new _________ looks SO much better than the old model."
And even a few
"The new ________ ROCKS! Can't wait to park one in my garage!"
Car designers have a tough job. They have to design a car 2-3 years in advance of public comment, ANTICIPATING what the consumers and gearheads will want and like. Talk about a crystal ball! Focus groups can only take you so far. After that, somebody has to say "yes" and throw the levers to start the production line (and spend billion$ of dollars).
I think the new design on both the Cayman AND the Z are excellent evolutions of their respective current designs. They tip their cap to the old, yet introduce new design language. That's not an easy thing to do.
Once reviews of both the new Z and new Cayman are out in print, the public will embrace the new cars. SO will the enthusiast gearheads on the forums.
Nobody wants to be seen driving an outdated car. We all want what's cool, hip, what's hot at the moment. The new Z will be hot real soon.
Might as well get on board, 'cause, like it or not, this IS the new Z.

truth. i still like the g35 over the g37
but iono how it will be with the 370. i actually like the headlights, looks much more agressive than the current z. but the rear is horrendous. but i DO like the wide rear fenders

I just can't come to grips with the front/rear lights. The overall shape reminds me of an M-Coupe, which is cool...however they lost me with the lights and grill. Functional design changes? I think not.

The interior on the new Z is a thumbs up, its very similar to the 350. The exterior is a thumbs down, nissan has too much going on IMO the front end looks like a fish, ill prolly get a G37. Nissan messed with a good thing, enough said.
