I hate the rear lights. They look stubby and makes the entire back look stubby. The 350 looks cool becasue the rear lights stretch out in a long form, a long diamond. Its like watching a Ntsc video vs an HDTV. The length of lines makes for more dynamic design. The front lights dont bother me too much, it's just the rear lights that make the shape stubby looking. As an artist , thats the major problem I find with the 370z.

What you are describing is the result of taking the basic 350Z shape and forcing it to fit on a shorter frame. The whole car has issues in this way. The headlights and tail lights are slightly different as they are just some arbitrary new shapes that Nissan tacked onto the car to be different without considering whether they compliment the design as a whole (which they don't).
The 370 is supposed to be an "evolved" 350 but instead it turned out as a mutation of sorts. Hopefully with the next gen Z, Nissan will come up with a fresh design that has been truly thought through.
If they did the same with the new 370 Z as they did with the Altima Coupe the radio will not be able to be modified, its built into the dash, but it will have the cool keyless entry and push button start... no fumbling for keys getting in and starting the car...... I like it....
Tail light is great, head light is cool, interior is nice, GT-R hood is inspire.
Everything look great except that fang. I don't know why car need that fang, it isn't child's toy.
IDK... looks a bit of a mess (too much going on). I'm sure it will look better in a bright orange color... and some aggressive offsets. I'm sure i'll eat my words later when I see it in person
i agree with you, it does seem like a mess
no offense but i think nissan did a horrible job of designing the 370z, i feel the looks of the 350z is way better than the 370z, thats just my opinion
