Hey tech im not to sure who you are talking to i was the one that said something about the supra and the auto tranny. I think this guy just jumped in and started talking without reading most of the thread. Anyhow yes you are correct they aren't stock auto tranny's but neither are the manuals when you start putting as much power down to the ground as some supra's do right. Anyhow this is a sweet swap and is there anything for the auto tranny's for the z's coming out other than paddle shifters.

Not sure what you are referring to when you say "neither are the manuals". The stock Getrag in the Supra can pretty much take as much abuse as you can throw at it.

yup.. poeple confuse the Supra Getrag Tranny with the VR-4 Getrag tranny.. the stock 6spd on a supa handle 1000whp no problems

Funny thing is he did not know who I was until I started messing with him and his reaction was priceless. I've know Gurgen for quite a while and when he left me the message I could tell he did not know it was me. I knew exactly who he was since his name is unique.
I think gurgen already addressed the price issue, and it is his car, so please read the whole thread before making comments like this
The longer the Z and g is out, the less sense it makes to do this conversion as they become cheaper and cheaper. Who seriously dumps 30g's into their car then goes, 'hmmm, I'd like to shift it now". A fool and his money are soon parted.
Nevertheless....I see this is a testament to the skill of the guys at GTM, plain and simple.
