Default Alpine iPersonalize

I've been too lazy to measure distances in the car then plug them into Alpine's webiste. Anyone has some iPersonalize settings for the Z they wish to share?

I have components up front, coaxials in the rear and a sub.

Cehome,

I am more lazy than you. What is iPersonalize? Something with personal settings ?

Ha Ha. It's all good. iPersonalize allows you to set the optimal crossover, equalizer and time correction settings for your specific vehicle. You do this my measuring distances from the seats to the speakers then plugging them into Alpines website. They'll then give you settings you can burn to a cd and upload it to your Alpine head unit

WOW!!!

Got to try it this weekend. I played with the time corrections before, but didn't notice a lot.

I could never get the upload to my head unit to work correctly. Any suggestions?

Donest alpine or kenwood make a headunit with a hookup for a mic so the audio system can figure out the best settings?

The mic sucks for my alpine h700. It's way better to measure the distance of the speakers and plugging the values on alpine's ipersonalize website. Then I just write everything down and punch it in my processor.

If I get bored this weekend I will measure the distance for the time correction and post them, I will leave it up to you to set th Parametric EQ. Unless you have amps that control the highs and lows you should turn the crossover off to giv you full range sound. I will measure from the middle of the door b/t the tweeter and the door speaker if anyone is interested.

Eclipse has some decks out where you put the mic where ever then take a memory stick out then upload the info to eclipse and they setup all the crap for you, t/a, cross over points, and eq settings etc etc.

Front left speaker is 38 inches from left ear
Rear left speaker is 11 inches from ear
Front righr speaker is 52 inches from right ear
Rear right speaker is 31 inches from right ear

For the fronts, I measured from the middle of the door in between the tweeter and mid bass drivers

For the rears, I measured from the middle of the speakers themselves.

The Person who was sitting in the car was an average height human being.

I've never done this before but these numbers should work.
