I have had several V1's and still have 2. Recently I met a Z guy that worked at Bust Buy and he hooked me up with a passport x50 for a good price. I had just traded cars and left my hardwired V1 in the old car. I used the passport for about a month before ordering another V1 and now the escort sits in it's pretty case. I did not like it. It was missing a boggy counter and arrows to start with. It was not loud enough to hear over the radio and I never got used to the signal noise. Anyway for me there is not competition. V1 all the way.
