and the line converter for the bose system is$60

That is a good deal. My local shop wants 2100.00 + 350 install-
99.00 bose line converter, 99 for the PAC steering wheel remote interface. I am going to wait till next march, Eclipse is comming out with the AVN5495 which is the same as the AVN2454, but has HDD.

I have been an Alpine and Eclipse fan, but this unit rocks! I think it has the best graphics (GUI) than the Alpine.

Damn - $250 to install! I think it would be in your best interest to learn how to diy to save that cash. A HU is so easy to install in a 350Z and even if you've never done it before I'm sure it would take under 1 hour to do. I can run a new HU in a Z in under 30 minutes tops - and that includes soldering all the connectors.

yea i said more than Daaam hehe
but unfortunatly even at the dealer they say 5hrs!!
have more detailed you have to know the wiring and speed sensor wire and route the gps antenna, and with the low quality plastics i would probably break something, id rather them break it and pay for repair heh, AND with all the time it would take me plus the learning time i could easily work a day
its just not something id want to risk in this new car ..

i bet ur pretty awesome with install i wish you were near me id pay you!!!
and make enuf for the install
