Guys,

Is fatmat fire retardant or at least can handle the heat from the amplifier. I am planning to use fatmat for the glove compartment (the compartment is removed) and my two amps are there.

Any concerns?

Btw, does fatmat stick well upside down. Do I need to use liquid nail to hold it? I know it has its own adhesive.

I am using Fatmat on the hood of my classic Mini. I don't know how hot the Fatmat gets though the foam heat layer but it is hanging upside down pretty well.
