I have at last found the answer to all of your problems...you may bow down to me. Only thing you need is a wiring harness as they dont have one for our cars on their site.

That's great... works with the mini's and 2g ipods. What about us with 20gb/40gb 4th gen ipods?! :-P

Ugh, and $200 just to use the factory system? I wonder how good the quality would honestly be over using the tape deck or FM modulator.

It lets you use your HU controls...that way you can stick the I-POD in the glove compartment or whatever.

If you scroll down past the chart of wiring harnesses they have an FM modulator that plugs into your antenna jack instead of just sending the signal thru the air.

BTW-those of you with Alpine HU's can now buy a $99.00 interface that allows you to control the I-POD with your HU controls. It also turns you I-POD on and off with your car. It even charges it while you're driving so you'll never have to worry about the battery going dead.

FM modulators that connect to the antenna actually put out decent sound quality, I have my PS2 hooked up to one and it sounds pretty good.
