This should fix the Airbag Light........

1) Put the key into the ignition and wait until the airbag light starts to flash ....

2) Turn the ignition off ... wait ten seconds (use a stopwatch) and repeat step 1. Do this four times. The light should turn off.

This should fix the check engine light.......

ECU Resetting Procedures

Timing is extremely critical. If it is NOT DONE within the specify time, the ECU will not reset and the Check Engine Light (CEL) will continue to remain ON.
A stop watch or an analog clock with a second’s needle will be useful.

Operations Procedures

1. Confirm that accelerator pedal is fully released, turn ignition switch “ON” and wait 3 seconds.
2. Repeat the following steps (2a and 2b) procedures quickly five times within 5 seconds.
2a. Fully depress the accelerator pedal (HARD).
2b. Fully release the accelerator pedal.
3. Wait 7 seconds, fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for approx. 10 seconds until the CEL starts blinking.
4. Fully release the accelerator pedal (while the CEL is still blinking)
5. Wait about 10 second.
6. Fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for more than 10 seconds.
7. Fully release the accelerator pedal (The CEL light will continue to blink).
8. Turn ignition switch to “OFF” position and now you can start the car. The CEL light should be gone.

If the CEL light continues to remain ON, repeat the above steps. Timing is EXTREMELY critical to resetting the ECU.

I know exactly what you did to trigger the airbag light, but what the heck did you do to throw a check engine light?

File --> Print --> Enter.

Thanks for the info, I had to wait about 3 months to figure out how to get my airbag light off when I did my install this summer.

Did you disconnect the battery while doing the install and unplugging things?

When you unplug the sensors in the seats, it automatically comes on and won't go off until the you clear it yourself. Disconnecting the battery would not trigger a CEL, but maybe something else is throwing it, I have no idea what caused that one. Check your voltage guage to make sure your new system isn't pulling too much power. That's my only guess.

What I meant is that if you do not disconnect the battery and you go unplugging things in the car the warning lights will be triggered, anytime you go in and unplug any electrical connections you should disconnect the battery.

If you disconnected the little white box behind the AC controls that will set off a bunch of codes related to fuel system and such, you are ok to drive.

If your new system draws too much power... which I doubt

(2200watts rms killed mine just once)

It will trip the CEL and make your car nearly undriveable for about 24 hrs
