I centered my head unit and placed it in a brushed aluminum trimplate. Looks very clean, but some say boring.

I'm installing an Alpine 9833 and the install kit Crutchfield included at no charge sucks. I'd rather usin the OEM mounting brackets becasue they attach nicely to the head unit. But now I need to custom fab some kind of finishing plate /pocket.

I'm thinking of hacking the included doubel DIN finisher (included pocket) with a Dremmel and figureing some way to attach it to the bezel.

Any other suggestions?
