I haven heard the JL in a while, and I've only heard the Diamonds once. What would you go with, 2 10"Diamond D6 or 2 10"JL W6v2?

 

That depends on what you are powering the subs with, what box they will be in, and what your goals are from your system, ie. SQ, SPL, SQL, etc...

 

Probably powered by Zapco 1100.1 and I'm looking for SQ. in a large range of music. Jazz, R&B, Hip Hop ect.

 

I have 2 Diamond subs, and the sound louder and more clear then any JL system I've ever heard. There are also several user reviews you can find online that agree with me.

 

My friend has 3 diamond subs with a system thats over $10K, the subs are about less then a year old and keep on making static, sounds really bad.. Powerd by PG amps. Not sure what model the subs are but the 3 amps are 1200 watts for 3 subs. But they pond hard. I have 2 JL 10w7's and i m thinking about downgraiding to 1 sub now becouse im going to loos my hearing. I love the JL's sound nice and clean.
