My Install So Far! (alot of pics)
I'm not 100% done with the system right now but wanted to put link my pics b/c I made sure to get everything I did so far. These ones are mostly wiring, LCD, doors, and prep work. My next ones will be of the pieces, design, layout, etc. I know first hand how hard it is finding some good details let alone really good pics for something your trying to do or getting ready to do so I hope some of these will help you guys out when you take on your own install! Feel free to take / use any of them if you want to. And ask any questions you want, I'll follow-up / answer them all!
This wont be one of those show-off threads that goes up just to get some ego attention and no replies / help when asked for! I did everything here myself so its taking alot longer than what I first thought, esp. since I can really only work on it in-between school, studies, work, and the girlfriend (I'm sure you guys know exactly what I mean on that one )! But I wanted to do it all myself so I could enjoy it that much more when its done! Plus I'm not one that can just drop off the car with some shop and hope they take care of it and just not hack through it as just "another install"! Not to mention the extra crazy amount of $$$ saved on labor or "custom" work as they put it! So that allowed me to get the some really nice / higher end pieces that I wanted to! Anyways, here they are, enjoy, ask away if needed....

thanks
I used 3M double sided tape on the top, left, and right sides of the frame and then put a " L " shaped bracket I made out of metal brace on the left and right side. Honestly, its a bit overkill and the tape would of been just fine but I wanted to be 100% sure. Would be pretty embarrassing cruising down the street with someone and the LCD falls down into the backing after hitting a bump or if the tape just gave way LOL
I plan on doing the amps, rear speaker spacers, CD changer, sirius pieces, and the cap this weekend / Monday so should have more pics in a few

anyone have a good suggestion(s) where to get good grounds in cubbies that will be 100% problem and noise / whine free? I need one for a ground dist block for the 3 amps (0 awg in and three 4 awg outs) and then I need one cap since it has to have its own ground. the manual says not to share it with the amps or any other pieces that make-up the system that it must have its own

quick question... Is that the same tweeter they use in the M6 series? I have the M6's and the tweeter was way to large to fit in the sail panel with the surround on it. Are yours different?
Thanks.
Thanks.
