Thanks alot to all of you that helped out on the handful of questions I've had the past week or two. I know some might of been dumb but better safe than sorry right!
I made up my mind on the front & rears high/mids, headunit, LCD, and amps. Here is what I've ordered so far...
- Kenwood Excelon Z910DVD
- FARENHEIT 7" Wide Screen LCD , T-7001MHR (still price hunting! any suggestions?)
- Diamond Audio HEX S600s (6.5 component kit)
- Diamond Audio M361i (6.5 mid w/tweet)
- Precision Power PCX-2125
- Precision Power PCX-250
Those are the pieces I decided on after xxxxx hours of reading and searching around! For what I'm after I think they make a pretty decent quality / clear stage up front. I've cut to many corners and took "the cheap way" out my fair share of times on previous systems so I didn't want to do that again and only end up with the "should of" or "what if" syndrome a month after the install is complete!
Now that those pieces are on the way its time to figure out want is going to end up in the hatch. I was going to do a custom fiberglas box in each cubby behind the seats for some 10's but after hearing a few different local cars with set-ups similar to how / where the subs would of been I decided not to go that route. Right now I'm looking over and reading up on doing one of these...
- 2 10" JL Audio W6v2's
or
- 3 10" JL Audio W3v2's
I sent Nazar a few questions about his boxes b/c that is one of the cleanest fits I've seen so far! So now just have to compare the "pros and cons" of each set-ups to the other and then pick the proper amp!
So thanks again for all help, I'm sure I have more questions! So feel free to comment / feedback on the pieces I've already decided on even jump in for the subs / amp dilemma!!!

What made you decide on the S600s versus the S600a Diamonds?

I wanted to get the truest most realistic / sound I could this time. The "s" kit has silk soft dome tweets where the "a" has aluminum. Listening to them side-by-side you instantly pick up on the differences. The s series sounded much better when comparing vocal and detail. The a's were to bright, they had that closed in metal sound, was very "in your face" with just alittle big of volume. If that makes sense!?
I've heard the differences and you are exactly correct the aluminums are brighter/harsher and the silk domes are softer. I do find that the As offer better sound reproduction but in a 350Z stock tweeter location I definitely say the silks are the way to go. I'd have choosen the same thing.
If Diamond would offer a twin tweeter set with the silks used as ambients and the ALs used as driver tweeters I'd be all over it.
I think you're going to have a wonderful sounding system, congrats

Have you tried looking fo the Kenwood 7" touch screen, I think it will fit---try www.onlinecarstereo.com they have them at a good price. I never heard of precision power--how do they sound? Can't wait to see photos!
Precision Power Inc (typically reffered to as PPI) has excellent sounding amps that are underrated in power. I've used several PPI amps in the past and love them. I still have a PPI PowerClass 4400.2 amp (now refered to as the PCX line and they've added cooling fans) that I'm going to be using in my daily driver shortly. I find that you get an aweful lot (power, clairty, and small size) for a great price with PPI amps and they are one of the better looking amps out there. No they are not an xtant, McIntosh, ARC Audio etc... but they are equal to most of the better then average amps like JL Audio, Pheonix Gold, Soundstream, Orion, etc....

Recently Car Audio mag did a bench test on their PCX-2200. It is a 2 channel amp rated by PPI for 200x2 @ 4Ohm , 400x2 @ 2Ohm, and 800x1 @ 4Ohm. PPI amps will give you the rated power regardless of the volts your feeding it! Where as many other bands the output is only as good as the voltage! That they get you on the rating, sure their amp will do 500 watts....as log as your giving it a constant supply of 14.4V's!!! Anyway, back to the point of the article.....the 1st test they did on the PCX-2200 they only gave it 10.5V's and the output on the amp just in 4Ohm stereo was 231 per channel and it never dipped! After they saw that the editor said there was no reason for them to go further into testing that the 1st test was more than enough for him to see! LOL
So you can see just how conservative they are with their ratings! 231 with only 10.5V's from an amp that is rated at 200 with 12V! Seriously take a look at PPI if your putting together a system! extremely clean, consistent, and very underrated power!

Now this part is complete!!! I just ordered the LCD for my dash. Went with the FARENHEIT 7" Wide Screen LCD , T-7001MHR that I was hunting down! Anyone that is considering any Audio / Video pieces definitely talk to Nazar before you order or buy local! His prices and services are outstanding! He really hooked me up on the LCD and there is no doubt I will be getting at least 3 more parts of my system through him! Thanks again Nazar, "the check is in the mail!"
