MB Quarts didn't fit in your doors? I have the MB Quart PCE-216 for fronts in my 04, they fit fine.

I using the MTX 1004 to power 4 perfects. 125 watts X 4 at 4 ohm. sound really good.
Rears are way too loud even at half power compared to the fronts.

Are the infinitys soft sounding or harsh? I was gonna do the MB quarts but they sounded wayy to harsh for my tastes.

Infinity's are good highs, not so impressive with mids though. HArshness can be adjusted however if you push em with Jl300/2 with a high treble setting, you might get a harsh ear piercing sound.
