Default DDX7015 + iPod, has it been done?

i was just wondering if anyone out there has integrated a kenwood ddx7015 with an iPod. i'm NOT talking about those Belkin fm transmitter type, i'm talking about actually plugging the iPod to the headunit through an adapter. if so, which one?

what type of adapter does the i-pod have? is it a low-level aka RCA jack type? if so, all you would have to do is plug the left and right audio into the R/L audio inputs on the back of the ddx7015.

i made mine external for easy access and show.

also, i have a second set of audio inputs by way of this adapter

Oh this might be very awesome! I've got the same controller interface with my Alpine, but the radio controls are not user friendly. If this thing works with the double-din Kenwood HU, and is user friendly, we've got a winner!

Someone get this thing hooked up and post some pictures using it!

I am getting one - will all be installed in a couple weeks but if you read the reviews it looks like its not real user friendly either. I'm not expecting too much.
