Question Is there some sort of an inline crossover on the NonBose?

Hey Everyone,

I'm in the midst of an audio install and have run into a little issue with the stock tweeter/speaker wires.

I'm replacing both the tweeters and the speakers, and have decided to pull a new wire through the doors, but I was hoping i could reuse the stock wires for the new tweeters I'm installing (since i didn't want to make the hole in the plastic clip too big for fear of damaging one of the pins, and that crappy 20 gauge wire should be just fine for tweeters).

Problem is, I'm afraid that the stock speaker wires have some sort of a wierd inline crossover on them to make them work aloneside the stock tweeters, is this the case? Or do the stock speaker wires connect directly to the HU?

If the speaker wires dont have a crossover on them then the tweeter wires do, if so then how are people replacing both tweeters and speakers without pulling new wires through the doors? It seems that if you just connect the wires directly to a new crossover, the inline crossover that comes with BOSE will hinder the performance of the whole system, no?

Thanks in advance!
