Default Sound System

Hey again im thinking of buying a sound system soon and i just wanted to know if anyone knew how much a base sound system would cost. Im thinking of just getting two JL Audio subs with a 1000 watt amp. Before i start planning i just wanted to know if you guys had bought anything similar to this and how much did it cost you?

I paid $5000.00 for my system at distributor price, and did all the installation my self. Took 3 months to install.

A good system installed by a pro will cost around $1600 including HU, front speakers, sub woofer, & amp.

My stuff includes DVD screen and navigation screen and will run about $3600. It should take me the better part of two days to install.

I've had a 14,000 square foot warehouse built faster than that - you must have a pretty complex system. I'm willing to bet the whole car got put together in less than a day off the assembly line.

In your guys opinion is it worth it to get a pioneer in dash TV. (The ones that go out and them flip up) I am new to this whole audio/video stuff. Is the 350Z BOSE system really crappy like everyone else says so(even i think it sounds fine). what other products would you guys recomend and where can i find this off the internet or in a Tweeter or best buy store?

if you think the bose sounds fine, keep it save yourself thousands...if you don't know how much better things can sound you will alwasy be satisfied!
I have spent about 1500-2000 on my system, including headunit, front components, 2 amps, 12" RCA's power wires and suplies to build a box.
Going to spend another 1-1.5K on an carputer soon.
