Trying to hardware V1 ... Could use some suggestions/help ...
Okay ... I'm trying to get this thing done ... I've got the rear-view mount installed and I was FINALLY able to bury the power cable into the headliner. I'm having difficulty getting down into the fuse box though while being able to completely hide the cable. Here's a few photos:

Photo-2 ^^^

Photo-3 ^^^
The area on Photo-1 is where I'm trying to get to. I'm pretty sure I can push it into that seam there and then down into the top of the fuse box kick panel area. That looks easy. I just can't get it to the area in Photo-1 without it being visible.
The areas in Photo-2 and Photo-3 ... the seams are just too tight and I can't get the cable in there. The only thing I was thinking possibly was to wrap it around the outside of Photo-2 along the upper seam on the A-Piller -- but it would be visible.
How are other folks getting this cable down to the fuse box without pulling out the A-pillar?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm not too handy with this stuff unfortunately.

I would suggest you hardwire it to the powered rear-view mirror:

If you want to run the wire under the A pillar plastic you put outwards at the circled point in your second photo. That's going to open a pretty large opening where you have circled in photo number 3. The pillar is just held in place with clips that you can snap and unsnap by pull and pushing.

You can see the square holes at the top and middle, the bottom one is covered.

Paul,
Thank you again ... I'm going to pull a little harder and see what happens. I tried to pull it out before but didn't want to break any of the little clips. It seemed like it was wedged in there pretty tight and clean and I didn't want to adversely affect that.
I think I should buy you lots of BBQ and Chicken Wings and Beer and stuff and you should come over and help me install this and the Fahrenheit.

Okay ... I'm either weak, retarded, or both ... should this be a constant pulling pressure or a jerking motion? Because I'll pulling pretty hard as it is (constant, no jerking motion) and it's not budging. I'm afraid to break it. I'm not trying to pry this out, just trying to pull on it as best I can -- it's hard to grip.

You just pull on the things. I use a flat bladed screw driver aimed right between the head liner and the A pillar plastic. Go gentle and aim well as you don't want to bruise either. Once you've got the blade under the plastic enough so that it's not working on the very edge of the plastic pillar just pry.
The little steel clips are designed to grip onto the plastic tigher than they clip into the holes in the door. The clips are sort of like:
<|>
where the "<" and ">" are leaf springs that press out into the door. The "|" is the center of a plastic post that comes out from the "A" pillar plastic. You've got to pull out hard enough so that the "<" and ">" retract and press back against the "|" so that they can slip out of the holes.
Once you've done it a few (hundred) times it becomes easy. When they go back in you make sure that you've got them into the holes and either press down firmly or just give them a light tap.
Make sure you wrap the radar detector's wire tightly to the harness inside the pillar to avoid rattles in the future. Nissan sold me mine with a built-in rattle in there anyways so I just wrapped the heck out of everything. Electical tape is made with enough rubber in it that the rattles are suppressed.

I'm done! I'm done! I used a little plastic crowbar looking thing and everything popped apart ... even took the panel off and the interior trim on the bottom door frame. We're all wired up and ready to go ... I asked someone what they thought and they didn't even notice the Detector at first since it's up by the mirror! Yay!
Thank you all for your help!
