if it is one of those under the strut bar boxes that does not protrude past the strut bar on either side it is definitely not a good box. The 10W7 requires a lot of air space, preferrably 1.25cuft in a sealed box. More so, if the box doesn't protrude past the strut bar, even with a 1 inch spacer, it wouldn't fit i believe.

Concour with the wisdom above. There are a number of boxes that come and go via e-bay but if it's the $99 Zenclosure one then at 0.75 cu.ft. it's not a good match. That box will barely hold a woofer 6.5" deep - barely!

even if you add enough space for the sub to clear in the box, the box does not provide optimal air space for the sub. and though it may not sound terrible at all, it won't sound as good as it can.

you're best bet is having a shop custom build a box for you. or you can contact nazar (a member on this forum) and see if his shop makes a box for the W7 for the Z. I know he makes a bunch of boxes for JL subs, just not sure about the W7.

If you spent that kind of money on a subwoofer, why not get the correect box built? Thats like turbocharging your car, but still using 87 octane

I have the fiberglass Nazar Box with a 10w7 and sound slowing poly fill. It is pushed by a JL 500/1. OMG!!! I never knew a 10 could be so loud.

mike on ebay has the single 10 box with amp rack. has 1.35cu.ft. subtract the woofer displacement of the 10w7(.09cu.ft) you have 1.26, which is almost perfect. the only downside is that the front baffle is 3/4. the w7 requires a 1 inch baffle. hope this helps
