I know it sounds like a noob post but I just blew my Soundstream amp that was driving the fronts and rears sigh. I've been out of the stereo scene too long and need one by Friday. And yes I have read a lot of threads but the head unit is Eclipse avn5435 so I am wondering if the 5v output needs to match the amp. So what's good these days.

These are what I've found and am considering - Orion 8004, Diamond Audio D6 600.4, Soundstream TRA680.4, ORION WCC-1600.4, JL Audio 300/4 (these seem very popular on the board).

it is clear and nice and loud

 

Id chuck it all and get a Cadence, but thats me.

Of that list I would get either the JL or the Diamond Audio.

 

jl i have the jl 450/4 and it works great! Never a problem

 

I would go with the JL audio

Don't get kenwood there are good but they get too hot even the one with the fan..........

 

I decided to go with the JL Audio 450/4. Pretty good match for my speakers.
