Default Zenclosure(mike's) box question

just wondering if people are using these things(in the pic) that come installed in the box or do people drill a new whole for the sub wire?

also what are these things for anyway?

haha... dude. Those are quick disconnects for your subs. They allow you to maintain a proper seal for the sub while still having the convinence of easily detachable wires. when you mount the subs in the box, just simply wire the sub driver to those tabs on the inside. a tiny bit of solder never hurts either. maintain a great connection.

FYI for the future: www.parts-express.com has all kinds of installation parts including the speaker cups.
