Default Amp placement???

Where do you guys have your amps mounted and how? Im looking for anything besides in the storage space behind the drivers seat. Not really wanting to put a fan in there for ventialtion and running the wires for it as well.

Nice, but a bit too bling for me. I like low key ****. Though I will admit, that looks clean!

Honestly you dont need fans if you use the area behind the drivers side seat. I have a JL audio 300/4 and 500/1 mounted in there and they never get hot. That area has a lot of room for heat to escape from. I added some black carpet in there and it looks very clean.

Even with the panel closed over it?

yes, I have a solid panel over it. The area is set up for a free air woofer because it is not sealed and there is a ton of air flow back there. You could always just leave the panel or take a bose panel and put that on since it has the holes in it. Out of site out of mind.

Yeah, it's got screws holding it down. I can try and get you a pic if you want, although I've never posted pics on here b/c I'm a new member, but I'll give it a shot if you want.

Mine are mounted in the stock subwoofer location.

I really need to take a picture with the speaker cover off in the finished condition.
