Default Need Help getting dash back together!! Help!

Okay...I took apart my dash to add the AUX-NISS to my Bose head unit. Now I can't get everything back together. I seem to be having an issue w/ the white HVAC control box under the head unit. I know this isn't very specific, but has anyone who took their dash apart had issues getting it back together? What's the trick? i'm getting extremely frustrated!

when putting everything back together, there are the two 'legs' that go down into the lower dash on the sides of the white HVAC control unit. I can't seem to get the white hvac unit to get into the right spot so that the lower part of the dash will settle in properly. I honestly can't figure out what is keeping everything from settling in...it just won't. I'm missing something and I'm assuming anyone who has taken their dash apart themselves knows what I'm talking about and can help me figure out what I need to do to get it back together.

Hard to explain without lookin at it but from what I remember...

The HVAC unit should be screwed in then make sure the lil tabs on the shifter housing cover is aligned. At the bottom of the radio housing cover there are tabs that should be aligned to the edge of the shifter housing cover. I need some pictures...
Try to find the manual on line. I will too.

yeah I wish I had my camera so I could help explain. Basically, the hvac box is keeping the bottom of the radio from seating all the way in. It's probably sticking out 2 inches or more. I just can't seem to get the radio back all the way in. i'll look for the manual as well. Let me know if you can find it.

It's tight spacing now with all the new wires, right?
Did you move all the AV stereo control/RCA/speaker wires
to both AC module's sides and carefully tuck all its wires
under the lip? Then use two metal bolts to secure it.
If you force it back in place and break/short a connector
lead it would be a very expensive install. I sweated this
one too.

Okay...GOT IT! THanks for trying to help. I got some more light in the car and figured out my error. I was trying to put the lower 'legs' of the assembly in front of the white hvac unit, but you have to get them behnd it! Stupid me! All put back together...no problem.
