Um...I don't get it.
What's "peak hold" and why do you need to monitor it?

I cut a piece of thin black plastic and wrapped it in vinyl. The stinger gauge had the transparent red lens on it. The only thing i forgot to do was adjust the voltage before installing it. now it reads about 1.1 volts too low. i gotta rip it out and fix it.

It seems no one knows what this thing does, but that’s not the important question here, but the one that’s important is: where are you going to put the change now???? JK nice install congrads.

Dang newbies.....

Peak hold can be used to view the max value a perimeter reached during a set period.

Peak Hold example

say you are driving and it is monitoring RPM you max out at 7,000 RPM the gauge will remeber the highest RPM you hit was 7,000 and hold that in its memory until erased or higher is hit, or that session is over.
