Pic Of My Audiobahn Eternals
HEY GUYS HERES A PIC OF MY SUBS, YOU GUYS NEED TO DO THIS. IT SOUNDS BAD ***! THIS IS WAY TOO MUCH BUT I LOVE IT! BY DOING THIS IT USES THE HATCH AS A BOX AND IT PRODUCES REALLY DEEP LOUD BASS! THANKS TO MY BUDDIES AT ADVANCED CAR CREATIONS I FINALLY GOT WHAT IVE BEEN WANTING
Nice set up... but I think the inverted subs still use the box for bass response. It actually gives the box more air volume when inverted. What are you pushing those with? Any more pics of your stereo? What HU are you using etc. Thx!!

I'll bet you that you'll not be able to hear the difference between 900 watts and 1000 watts. To make a 3 dB difference in the sound - one tick mark on the volume control difference you'll need 1800 watts (an additional 900 watts) that last 100 watts ain't gonna do jack.
To really light those things up with another 10 dB you're going to need a 9,000 watt amplifier.
But save enough of your money for hearing aids.
Although it's not the easiest thing to comprehend, doubling the amplifier power does not double the loudness. In the above example, the sound from the speakers would not be "twice as loud"; it would only be "a little louder," an increase of 3 decibels. How loud is that? Hearing tests with large groups of people have revealed that a one-decibel (1 dB) change in loudness is approximately the smallest audible step that the average listener can detect, so an increase of 3 dB most listeners term "slightly louder."

Paul you and I both know that is in a perfect world. Being from the DB drag world and being a national competitior I know that just because you double power doesnt always give you a 3 db gain. Most the time it is between 1.5 and 2 db gain.
not to bad. Not my choice on subs but I am sure they hammer for ya.
