note taht the 4 6.5s have more otuput at ALL freqs level than the single 10, even at the ultra low end, and that at 30hz, they are louder than even the 12 and the kv series of edesigns subs are not cheap or flimsy subs

Looks like the box for the 10 was too big of an enclosure.

Ah much better then still that massive peak at 55 Hz needs some serious taming.

well, depends, most hatches have a massive bump somewhere, and much better that its at 55hz, in the meat of the response, than say at 100 hz lol...

infact, most people love ported box for the fact thtey do ge that nice bump at around those freqs a response graph like that would most lilely sound fine in a car, now if htat hump was way to the right, then it would need some serious taming hehe

i wonder if anyone have plotted a graphc in a Z, i would be intesrted in seeing where the hump is, but from my personal listening, i would say its about 60-70ish

Hmm. I got two of those buggers sitting in my closet, Tryed hooking them up in the rear speaker holes, but could never get them to sound good in there. I'd be tempted to send you the two I have and add another. But I forget what VC config I have, and don't know if they could handle the 9.1 I have.

Would be interesting to compare it to my 13Ov.2 in the driver side corner.

So, it's the enclosure with the three subs, for $325 shipped? Or does this include an amp to power the set up? In the diagram, you place an amp in the enclosure, so I'm assuming you're including the amp.

no, wont be including an amp sorry

three subs are by themselves for about 200 bucks after shipping charges, materials and vinyl etc about 50 bucks total, the rest is labor and shipping charges hehe

What would they sound like when in the rear speaker holes?

Did you double or triple deaden the inside of the wholes? A plastic enclosure would be horrible for them. Were you able to mount them on mdf or stock plastic?

Sorry for all the questions

just like i thought

they would sound horrible in the stock location, these speakres are desinged to go from 20hz relaly only up to 200-250hz, and in that little space back there, its just going to sound like a boomy midbass, not hte way to go...
