Hello there,

Just wondering if anyone has the new Alpine W200 DVD player? If so any thoughts? Good, bad??? I am thinking of putting this into my 04 Roadster. Is the screen bright enough to be viewed in the car with the top down? I also have the factory nav unit and I think that I will leave that in place. Will the nav still work? Thanks for any input.

Any pics that you have of your double din touchscreen setups would be greatly appreciated.

yes it is very nice.. though the face sticks out pretty far.. the screen is nice but not very bright.. might have problems with glares... no complaints though its really a cool unit..

i have the ipod adapter.. it was amazing for the 2 days it worked but for some reason it stopped working a couple days ago and isnt detecting the ipod.. if i can get it working again its awesome.. oh and i managed to get it to mount more flush you just have to drill new holes in the nissan brackets able 1/4'' back from where the holes are.. fits perfectally.. ill try to get some pics soon as well..

 

dumminguy81- no I have an 03' coupe. Im doing a lot of mods to the sounds/video system, ill post a thread by sunday evening with all the photos!

^by the way i found out why my ipod wasnt detected... the ipod is broken not the head unit.. damn apple and their half a$$ crap... $400 and it lasted barely a year...
