remote amp wire

Default remote amp wire

so i searched and didn't find much

i heard that the remote turn on amp wire could also be wired to the power anntena can someone confirm this cause i have 2 amps and one will be wired to the regular remote wire and the other to the power anntena

well i would think wired to power antenna it will only come on when you have it on FM or AM not a cd, but i am not an expert. I am guessing you have the factory deck?

nope everything is aftermarket -_-

or could i just split the remote wire? would that be easier?

I've always ran all of my amps off of the remote wire...if you are uncomfortable doing that you can run them off of any "ignition" wires.

yes, you can either splice your remote wire and run it to each amp, or run it to one amp, and then run a "jumper" wire from that amps remote terminal to the other amps remote terminal.

Just tap into the wire for the cig lighter. Split it and run both amps off of that.

Since everything is aftermarket... Daisy chain the remote wires between the amps.

You dont need a seperate remoted wire for every amp coming from the Deck. It is just a 12v source that flips a switch in the amp and tells it to get off its *** and play some music
