Default easy v1 stealth install - pic

thought I share this:
The cable from the concealed display can easily be squeezed under the edge of the center console without any tools or taking anything apart.
The concealed display itself holds on the power plug as supplied by v1.
The power plug cover kind of holds it in place well and it fits perfectly in terms of width. No cables visible in front.

The V1 itself is mounted under the rear hatch as many threads on this forum point out.
I used a ziptie to attach some kind of hard foam piece to the headliner.
The v1 is attached to the visor mount which I can slide on to the foam piece or take out anytime. Ziptie and foam piece stays in place.
I didn't bother about hiding the cable coming out of under the center console behind the passenger seat on the floor up the side pillar through the coat hanger to the V1.

From the driver's seat it is easy to see the concealed display and it looks like it belongs there. Not sure if the 2006 has the same power plug location and cover in front.

I've got my V1 mounted on the windshield, and the power cord (curly one) runs down to where the concealed display is, only i have the concealed display wire unplugged..kinda easier to watch the arrows right above the 3 guage cluster. This is the best setup I have w/ the v1; downfall is that mounted that low, the rear sensor is blocked by the rear brace, etc.
Other than that, looks sweet, and works great (so far).
Btw, is your V1 unit hanging down from your rearvirew in one of those braces (some place sells one for 35 bucks) -- it was a nice custom mount, i'm considering one and wiring it like you did -- better than the cord running down my passenger dash to the electircal outlet.
