Default aftermarket navi

hey everyone, I'm completely ignorant when it comes to aftermarket electronics/installation/etc., but I'm looking to get a navigation system installed in my 03. I want something that fits in where the factory navi would be. I'm hoping to spend less than 1k. Can someone educate me and perhaps give me a couple of suggestions? Thanks.

try the search for this...many people have done this using the Fahrenheit screens that fit perfectly in the stock...i'm sure you'll find what you're looking for with just a little bit of searching...good luck!

If your budget is 1K I would suggest a Pioneer D-1 (perhaps a used one). That will fit the DD (double Din) slot left by the stock radio. Reasonable performance for the price. Just my 2c

I have a Garmin 2610 and it fits great in the cubby. Not a permanent install, but definitely one of the more accurate GPS solutions for a car.
