Paul350Z - I was thinking about the same thing. Do the amps get enough cooling with only the speaker grille for ventilation? I was thinking of adding a fan.

I put a little whispher fan in there to push just a bit of air outwards. The amplifier turn-on circuit on the Pioneer AVIC has enough current to run this fan which was the quietest one I could find.

Default amp location

under the seats.... one each side... totally stealth...

may need to remove the seats for a proper install...

I used zip ties that run under a metal crossmember and hold it fast...

doesnt the seat smash/scratch the amps that are mounted under the seat? especially when someone is sitting down? I tried to measure the clearance and measured less than 3 inches.
