Default Sound Deadener... Dynamat -VS- BQuiet -VS- Fatmat -VS- etc etc etc

I'm looking to buy alot of deadener so I jumped on eBay to check out Dynamat. I didn't realize there were so many options or brands to go with for this? I'm looking to do alot, covering both doors, lining both the OEM sub location and glovebox b/c they are coming out and I'm using IB subs, the rear floor and esp. will be lining on top of the wheel wells while we're at since they are horrible! So I need alot of it if its going to be done right!

Are all these pretty much the same thing, just different names? Is it "really" worth going with only the Dynamt brand? I want to really seal it up so need to buy large, so a really good deal is more or less what I'm after?

How much sq ft you guys buying, what brands did you get, and where are some of the best deals at for this? What are some to go with and some to stay away from?

I bought brown bread and L-Comp from B-Quiet.

Have installed the brown bread and the L-Comp in the hatch area, and will post pic's (hopefully today)

Will be doing the doors this coming weekend.

The install in the hatch area made a great difference, and the added weight seems to have helped the ride qualtiy as well

I bought 70 sq ft of BB and 40 sq ft of L-comp

this should be enough for my project. I put multiple layers of BB in the hatch

Default FATMAT !!

I myself, used FATMAT in my installation. This product looks like a very good copy of the Dynamat Extreme stuff. I bought 100 sqft off of an Ebay retailer, for $100 plus $25 for shipping, and this included some solvent for cleaning, a cheap plastic roller and utility knife. The tools were throw-aways, but the FATMAT product adhered really well, and although I did not use the entire roll, (I used about 50 sqft), my Z is quiet. I did my doors, entire rear hatch, rear wheel wells, and compartments behind the seats. I am impressed with the performance, and would defintely recommend it to other people, especially for the price.

If you are looking for a good performing product for a fair price, try FATMAT.
