Default computer chip to control laptop or car-puter

I see that a lot of you have put laptops in your z's. I have a computer chip that will control the computer. When you turn your car on, it will start the laptop and turn on your screen for you. When you get out, it will leave your computer on for 30 min (adjustable time) then shut it down it down for you and kill the power. This way if you want to run into the bank or something for a few, you don't have to reboot your computer. You never have to think about it. I also have a great way to get TV reception in your car. PM or email me amrit50@fastmail.fm if you are interested.

i guess b/c it's quite involved. you have to get a splitter for the motorola cable (standard antenna cable), and send one side to your radio. you conver the other side to co-ax and run it into your tv tuner. It works great! no more un-sightly antennas that don't work. I have tried 5 different ones, limo style, house style, car style, amplified, you name it.

it's a small plastic box (about 6" x 3" x 2") that has leads coming out of it. you hook up your power wire, and ignition, and 2 wires to the computer and one wire to your inverter (or whatever powers your computer) and one wire to your screen. It auto boots your computer when you turn on the car and shuts it down 30 min after you get out. The 30 min is adjustable. The chip is reprogramable to perform almost any task in your car. I have mine close my windows and sunroof when i turn off the ignition and set my alarm. There are millions of possibilities. The setup will run in the $150 range.
