hey guys i jus got my redline z, it came with an aftermarket eclipse av-8022 which is like a 2002 model, but it works exellent, but one day it jus went dead. The head unit was jus still, i wont even turn on. However the fm was working cuz i heard this chsshhhhhhh, so i had to unplug the little amp or whatever, I guess what im really asking is how to maybe reset the head unit, or how to check the fuse maybe, i really have no idea

take it to a stereo shop. They can look at the wiring harness in the back to see if everything is connect correctly. Did you disconnect the battery recently. Eclipse use to have a security feature that made you insert a disc selected by the original owner that acted like a key. Without the correct disc, it wouldn't work. Dunno if Eclipse still has this feature or not. Something to look into though. Otherwise, your unit may be going out. A stereo shop could tell you more.
