I've had a few setups in the past with the woofers facing up in a hatchback and they didn't sound bad at all. Not sure about the Z but it should sound better than the stock woofer!

Seriously though...You could ask Mike from Zenclosures about the sound (He'll shoot you straight) or maybe someone on this board running that setup or a similar setup. I assume it still sounds good!

i think i have seen one specificly JLs but i believe it was for 10" subs, but what i plan on doin is buyin the amp rack off ebay and putting my 12s and the amp in there, less $$ and less trunk space wasted

im also worried about the weight that 2 12" box from zenclosure looks real heavy and after it has 2 w6s in it who noes how much it will weight. I see this new guy xtreme custum or something he has a 1 12" subwoofer enclosure that goes under the strut bar onlyt guy who has it. But they go and come on ebay ive seen it up then off then up

Use the search, this has been covered at least once a week since I've been a member of the board (including by myself).

And it's poor etiquete to hijack another member's thread.

OK, Here is the post from Mike at Zenclosures about the one-off 2 12" box he made. Email him to find out if he can duplicate it .
