Thanks ya'll, I have competed on the world level and judged for a couple of years. Great fun. All of the trophies are now religated to the Attic.. USACi always had nice trophies.
But Alas, I am a family man now and just cant afford to go off to a competition every weekend all over gods green earth.
I'll be an audiophile forever though. (or till I go Deaf)

The misinformation thrown out around here is quite humorous at times .....
Anyhow ... if you can get another woofer of similar specs, to give you a box of the same Q and F3 ... you'll be perfectly complimentary. There is no cancelling and no problem at all.
Instead of doing this .. how about getting one better woofer to make the problem go away altogether and utilize more of your amp.
That Impala up there looks to have Premier 12" PRS woofers ... best SQ woofer I have ever measured or heard.

yes, steve was part of team pioneer, so everyhign in the car is pioneer, i have ran the PRS subs too, definetly one of my fav sq subs as well, but not quite an sql sub, just didnt have that much output IMO, something like an IDmax to me, is still a superior subwoofer in the overall sense to my ears

I've pondered this idea, but the problem I have is the mounting depth of superior subs. My current sealed enclosure only allows around a 7 inch mounting depth. The Fosgate T1 12 was the best sub I could find that had a small enough basket to fit in the enclosure, not to mention I can pick them up for only $180.00 each.
