factory alarm issues!
Here is the situation, I have an 03 performance model, light mods, nothing crazy, no electronic mods at all, inside or out. Now the last week my factory alarm has been randomly going off during the night and once during the day. I know what your thinking, somebody is tryin to break into it. I video-taped my car after the 2nd time it did this and it did it a 3rd time, with nobody at all around it, and street lights on it. Anybody ever have this problem? Where do i start to trouble shoot?? car has 55k on it and warranty is done,,, somebody help me out.
thanks
thanks

The only way the OEM alarm will go off is if either the door, the hatch, or the hood is opened.
If the alarm is going off randomly, I would check the switches at each entry point. I would bet that your OEM hood pin switch is starting to fail.
