Very cool, I'm thinking about getting this one but it's alittle more pricey. They also sell a separate cradle that has a video jack for those that has iPod Video.

BTW, DiscountCarStereo is cheaper for PA11-NIS.

From what I can gather these won't work in a stock 06 Bose system because there's no SAT button on the head unit. Is that correct...? I have the 6-CD indash unit but no Nav. There isn't any way of switching to the iPod input that I can see, and pressing the Mode button cycles through FM1, FM2, AM and CD.

Any update on this 06blueZ? I've got an 06 with non-Bose audio as well and am desperately looking for a way to have high quality iPod sound through my stock system.

I had a direct connection in my last car and this FM transmitter BS is driving me crazy! Please give us an update when the install is complete...

Edit: just saw this at http://www.discountcarstereo.com/detail.aspx?ID=701:

Compatibility & Notes:[These requirements must be met for this part to work]
1. Compatible with listed 1999-06 Nissan/Infiniti factory radios with external Changer controls.
2. The PA11-NIS does NOT interfere with the in-dash 6-CD Changer radio.
3. The Nissan/Infiniti radio MUST have a 12-pin Changer connector on the back of the radio AND the correct button on the radio face [see footnotes for more details]
...

Doesn't look like this'll work with the non-Bose.

It does actually work with the non-Bose Zs. Well on my 06 enthusiast it works anyways. Just press the cd button to switch from your cd or to your iPod.

Does the title of the song/artist display on the headunit?

How do you control the ipod? I'm somewhat confused, but I think it's through both, the ipod and the radio?

Also, this charges the ipod right?

I'm looking to pick this up for my dads 06 Enth. (stock,non-bose) so it'll work I'm hoping?

Thanks

Just wanted to let you all know that pa11-nis installs and plugs in without a problem in my 2006 base Z with the non bose radio. It activates the internal cd changer control on the non bose radio, and it acts like there is a 6 disc cd changer connected. the sound is great and the interface between the ipod and the radio is fast as far as changing songs, i couldnt be happier! I will update with some pics later...

its easy man just plug in the ipod and the only thing you have to do is choose the artist from your ipod or if you have a playlist just play that you can control the songs from your wheel control if you have that or the unit and no no song info will show on your unit but it will work for any z stock and after market as well and yes it does charge the ipod as well it connects from the bottom part of the ipod get it your dad will love this
