Popping fuses, need another power source
Well ive officially over loaded this circuit haha.
The 12v switched power feed running the headunit is split to the dvd player, amp, headunit controller , tv booster and (then I attemped to hook it to the antena booster).
It runs for about 5 min then pops the "power mirror" fuse under the dash. What the heck is that fuse running those parts for?!
Regardless, where can I get another 12v switched supply to run my antenna booster?
Thanks
Scott

Id say a dedicated power line to a aftermarket fuse box... I used stock wiring in my last car, hooked up an air horn, and blew my parking lights whenever I used my horn, not cool.
now in this car, I have run a 6gauge wire into the car and will power anything I need off of this. its straight to the battery, with its own fuse. not piggybacking off anything else.

you are probably best using the relay idea then, itll let you turn it on and off when the car is on and off. and wont blow any fuses.
tap into whatever you want, but I dont think your gonna find a line with more than MAYBE 30amp fuse. which very likely isnt high enough for a strong system.
