Antenna issues?
Hey I have an Eclipse head unit and my radio reception is garbage. I pulled it out and made sure the antenna was connected good and checked where the actual antenna connects and it is good. Has anyone else had this issue with aftermarket HUs? ANy way to fix it? I listen to my IPOD and CDs mostly but I would like to be able to get the news and such.

The Z has a power amplified antenna that needs to be hooked up. You need to connect the BLUE auto amp on, to the signal wire (which I think is in the diagram above)
It literally should take 5 minutes to fix.

I'm confused. Why does the audio unit have 2 antenna connections (ANT SIGNAL and ANTENNA) in the diagram? What are the difference? Which one is the one that supply power to the antenna amp?

Yeah, my reception is crap too, but I didn't hook up the wire so I'm going to go do that too. Oh, and I also have an Eclipse d-din unit.
